In an ever-globalized world with disruptive technologies always lurking, manufacturers are at constant risk of losing their technological advantage. Taking this into account, service excellence has become more important than ever before. Meeting the expectations of every single customer is key when it comes to creating brand loyalty. It is not enough to be a technology leader. Successful companies have to be service champions who use consistency as a powerful tool. People always base their expectations on previous positive experiences. Thus, customers highly value consistency in their service experience — and by the way, those who deliver services and parts to them as well. The Service Leaders Summit 2020 was supposed to be forum to meet peers from across industries, listen to presentations, join in interactive workshops, and discuss how to deliver a consistent service experience — to everyone, everywhere, every time. Unfortunately, the novel coronavirus forced us to postpone it until next year.
